Benevolence

The Benevolence Ministry was created to fulfill our mission to building a loving, caring and compassionate community that welcomes all, fosters programs that provide for the spiritual growth of the community, and following the example of the Good Samaritan we endeavor to provide assistance where we see a need.
 
This Ministry is responsible for allocating and distributing funds for the greatest benefit to those we support in our communities according to the guidelines mentioned below. The Parishioners of St Paul the Apostle Parish generously provide financial and volunteer support to our charitable works.
 
The Community Outreach Ministry receives input from various Parish members and organizations, parish volunteers, Parish councils and external requests The Ministry assists the Parish Community, the communities we live in and extended communities with financial and other assistance, where we can, based on the following general guidelines and criteria:
 

• Those who are in need
• Those who are in crisis
• Where children are involved
• Individuals and charitable organizations with an immediate need
• Those with needs who are within our extended local Parish community boundaries
• At the guidance and support of the chair
• An organization who has a specific need
• Supporting Right to Life
• Parish formation, growth and evangelization
• Community health and welfare
• Promotion of the heart and healing in the local and extended community
• Those aligned with our Catholic beliefs
• From Parish community volunteers who advocate for a charity
• Critical care and requests outside our geographic boundaries
